Flowers for Church!

What a blessing for me to furnish the floral arrangements for our church! Since this is absolutely one of my favorite things to do. The largest one goes in the sanctuary and the other is for the entry table. Doesn't it look like Spring? I especially love this time of year because I can mix all the colors and there is no wrong way to do it!  Of course no (hardly any) arrangement would be complete without a nest with eggs! I hope you enjoy them, thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments. I am linking with Kara over at Elements Interiors and Between Naps on the Porch! The links follow.
Have a wonderful rest of the week, Spring is here and I am so thankful!

Spring Arrangements!

I don't know about you, but I am sooo ready for Spring! This does seem to be the longest winter ever. Cold and snow like we have not experienced in a long time. So needless to say, I have Spring Fever bad! lol. I have been motivated to work in my shop. All winter long, I have been doing catch-up in my home. Painting cabinets and decorating projects have kept me plenty busy. This past week I decided to design another Blooming Lamp, I had one in my booth at the flea market,( my daughter confiscated the other one. lol) so I thought I would make another one. Also we have a sun porch on the back of our house next to the patio, and we have a sun room which is in the front. It is more part of our house, while the sun porch is much more casual. Anyway, it needed to be ready for spring to so that was the only reason I needed.  Hope you enjoy them to. Thank you for stopping by and for you kind comments. I am also linking to Between Naps on the Porch. The link follows.

Easter Egg Tree!

Department 56 hand painted glass eggs, to be exact! They are beautiful, aren't they? Back before Christmas I had a phone call from the people we bought our house from, she wanted to know if I would be interested in some odds and ends from an auction. Well, of course I did. When I saw what she was talking about, I almost fell out! I expected a "few" things and certainly wasn't prepared for at least 20 plastic containers! Needless to say, I bought it!  I sat up all night going through it! I was like a little girl at Christmas! Anyway, to explain these eggs were in a box labeled "Easter". I did some research on these and they were made between 1999 and 2003 for Department 56. The little tree I already had so it was easy just to put in a glass container. I love them and plan on keeping them. Who knows they might be a collectors item some day. Thank you for stopping by. I am linking up with Kara over at Whassup Wednesday! Be sure and check out all the talented ladies. link follows!
